Mary Coast, Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, Joins Quadrivius, Inc. as Manager of Continuous Improvement
Rochester, PA, July 13, 2001 Quadrivius, Inc. today announced that Mary Coast has been appointed Manager of Continuous Improvement. In her new position, Coast will define, develop, and lead continuous process improvement and quality management initiatives for the Quadrivius group of logistics companies, which include Pittsburgh Logistics Systems, Inc. (PLS), PLS International LP, eflatbed.com, and InnerLink Strategic Solutions Inc (InnerLink).
Coast brings four years of continuous improvement project management experience to Quadrivius. She is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt, which is the highest level of study of the Six Sigma quality management methodology.
Marys background in data analysis coupled with her certification in the Six Sigma quality methodology will be of great value to the Quadrivius companies as we strive to make our day-to-day logistics processes more efficient, said Gregg A. Troian, President and CEO of Quadrivius.
Coast most recently held the position of Director of Billing and Rebates at Comdata Corp, a Brentwood, Tenn., provider of the movement of funds and information. She also was Certified Six Sigma Black Belt and Manager of Quality while with Comdata. During this time, she spearheaded several process efficiency projects that delivered annual savings of over $565,000 to the company.
Before working at Comdata, Coast worked at Federal Assurance Corp. in New Castle. She earned her B.A. in Business Administration from Westminster College.
